Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver captivating Humanities Teacher lessons, primarily focusing on Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Geography examinations, ensuring a strong understanding of key geographical concepts.
- Cultivate a dynamic learning environment that encourages geographical inquiry, critical thinking about global issues, and fieldwork.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Humanities (Geography), providing insightful feedback to enhance their understanding.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Humanities with a strong emphasis on Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A strong and comprehensive knowledge of geographical concepts, processes, and contemporary issues.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of making geography relevant and engaging for students.
