As a Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles), you will:

  • Teach Textiles across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level depending on experience.

  • Inspire creativity through engaging, practical projects focused on design, materials, sustainability, and innovation.

  • Prepare students for both practical assessments and theoretical components of examination courses.

  • Work collaboratively within a team of Design and Technology Teachers (Textiles) to enhance curriculum and resources.

  • Support the organisation of enrichment activities such as clubs, fashion events, and exhibitions.

  • Contribute to ongoing curriculum development, department planning, and school-wide initiatives.
