Business Development Manager

About the position

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with  an award-winning multi-licensed, broker who offers online CFD trading on FX, crypto, oil, metals, shares, and indices and seeking to onboard a Business Development Manager.


Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Limassol, Cyprus 

Work model: on site during the probation period. Hybrid (2 days WFH) after passing probation

Employment type: Full-time

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of market entry and expansion strategies.
  • Formulate and implement growth strategies with a focus on revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Schedule and lead meetings with prospective clients and partners to present products and services.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Initiate outreach to potential clients for onboarding and account setup.
  • Assist clients with navigating and using digital platforms and trading tools.
  • Provide market insights and general updates without offering specific investment advice.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal procedures when handling client accounts and records.
  • Facilitate partnerships by identifying and introducing potential collaborators, such as introducing brokers (IBs).
  • Organize and participate in online and in-person events, such as webinars or seminars, to engage clients and partners.


REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of business development experience, preferably in the financial sector or related markets.
  • Familiarity with financial markets and industry practices.
  • Experience with trading platforms such as MT4 or MT5 is an advantage.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems and trading software is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong follow-up capabilities and attention to detail.
  • High level of interest in financial markets and current economic developments.
  • Solid organizational and reporting skills.
