Interior Designer

Working on a full-time basis and reporting to the Senior Partner, the chosen candidate will be

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering interior design and design management services, including concept design, feasibility studies, interior decoration, schematics, design development, coordination, procurement, supervision of works, and certification.
Support on-site installation and supervision to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, adhering to specifications, drawings, contract documents, professional standards, health and safety regulations, and codes of practice, making corrections as required.
Maintain project quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, implementing rectifications to meet quality standards.
Attend project and technical meetings.
Contribute to the development of Building Information Modeling (BIM) within the Interior department and the company.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Advanced diploma or recognized qualification in interior design from an accredited institution.
Proven experience in interior design draughting, preferably across diverse projects such as hospitality, residential, or commercial.
Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, legislation, and practices in Malta.
Passion for design with expertise in integrated interior architecture and proficiency in multiple media (hand sketching to advanced digital tools) for developing and communicating ideas.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office; experience in Revit is an asset.
Experience in 3D modeling and presentation software is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work under pressure, collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment, and deliver projects efficiently.
Strong attention to detail, influencing skills, assertiveness, and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
Analytical mindset with a measured approach to decision-making for efficient outcomes.
Motivated team player with a positive and proactive work ethic.
Valid driving license for site inspections.
