VP1 System Analyst (CardLink), Cards

Job Responsibilities

Gather and document business requirements, translating them into detailed user stories and functional specifications.
Conduct cross-functional analysis and collaborate with technology teams for solution design.
Maintain a repository of features, data maps, and system documentation.
Work closely with design, testing, and development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
Facilitate stakeholder discussions, define MVP, and assess feasibility based on priorities and costs.
Ensure high-quality system design aligned with global architecture principles.
Support UAT, SIT, and post-deployment validation to ensure successful implementation.
Lead problem-solving initiatives and drive innovation in technology solutions.
Manage vendor collaboration, project timelines, and cost estimations for system enhancements.
Provide technical expertise in Cards platforms (CardLink/VisionPlus) and payments ecosystems.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
7+ years of IT experience, with 4+ years as a System Analyst in cards applications on mainframe platforms.
Strong knowledge of Cards platforms (CardLink/VisionPlus) and mainframe technologies (CICS/COBOL).
Experience in large-scale Cards migration and cross-functional system analysis.
Strong understanding of Cards & Payments industry trends and core functionalities (interest, fees, loans, balance transfers, disputes, loyalty, etc.).
Proven experience in Agile methodologies and project management.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with remote teams, and drive end-to-end project delivery.
