About the position
Equipment Operator - Cementing
Location : Kuwait
Job Description / Responsibilities :
1- Carries out Pre and Post job Maintenance for all Pumping and Other associated equipment.
2- Carries out High Pressure Reciprocating Pump Fluid End Maintenance Work.
3- Performs maintenance on the Batch mixer, Filtration Unit and repacking of Centrifugal Pump as well.
4- Performs mixing of Cement Slurries on the fly using Jet Mixing Pumping Unit.
5- Performs mixing of Cement Slurries on the fly using
6- Performs mixing of Cement Slurries with Batch Mixer.
7- Check Leaks on High Pressure lines and unit on location.
8- Be prepared for very short notice call for field jobs.
9- Able to Records Pressure Charts during job using Pressure Chart Recorder and Flow & Density during job using Electronic Chart recorders.
10- Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
11- Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
12- Ensure individual and crew work safety.
13- Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
14- Wear proper PPE and observe HSE policies.
15- Maintain the required safety training.
Education / Qualifications :
Diploma in mechanical / electrical or any other technical trade
4 - 6 years relevant experience in oil field Cementing operations.
Must have Kuwait Heavy Duty Driving License.
