About the position

Job Profile

  • Lead the finance and accounting strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's business goals and long-term financial health.
  • Oversee financial planning, risk management, and capital allocation to support sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic financial advice and direction to the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement long-term financial strategies that align with the company’s vision and objectives.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate growth goals.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and advise the executive team on key financial decisions.
  • Establish financial policies and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee tax planning, regulatory reporting, and compliance with financial regulations in all relevant jurisdictions.
  • Lead financial audits and work with external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Oversee capital allocation decisions, ensuring that resources are invested in projects that maximize shareholder value.
  • Manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions to secure funding and optimize capital structure.
  • Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the CEO and board of directors on mergers, acquisitions, and other major investments.

Professional Skills

  • Expertise in corporate finance, financial modelling, and strategic planning.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial risk management, capital markets, and investment analysis.
  • Proficiency in managing large-scale budgets, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance

Personal Skills

  • Strong leadership and vision, with the ability to drive organizational change and inspire the finance team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with investors, board members, and senior executives.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) for managing cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative environment.

Competency Requirement

  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, corporate finance strategies, and advanced financial management techniques.
  • Competency in leading large finance teams, managing the finance, accounts & book-keeping.
  • Ability to provide strategic financial leadership that supports long-term business growth and profitability.
  • Debt and equity management, as well as handling manpower.
  • Proficient in Tally and SAP?
