Veterinary Surgeon Full Time Stapleford, Nottinghamshire

An established and recently refurbished veterinary practice in Stapleford is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and close-knit team. Located in a prominent position on the towns main street, the practice offers a great working environment with excellent access to both the M1 and the scenic Derbyshire countryside.
The practice features modern clinical facilities and is part of a wider veterinary network supported by nearby hospitals. The team works closely together to provide exceptional, compassionate care to a loyal and diverse client base.
This is a full-time permanent role (40 hours across 4 days), including 1 in 6 full weekends at a local 24-hour hospital. Part-time applications and flexible working requests are welcome.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality clinical care in consultations, diagnostics, and surgeries

Maintain excellent client communication and provide clear patient updates

Prepare tailored treatment plans and accurate cost estimates

Collaborate with and support veterinary nurses and the wider team
-
Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence and continual improvement

Participate in clinical handovers and out-of-hours case coordination
What Youll Need:

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
-
Strong clinical and communication skills
-
Experience working as part of a veterinary team

Willingness to support nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures

A proactive approach to patient care and teamwork

Interest in ongoing development and CPD
