English Teacher – Independent School in Suffolk

About the position

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join the faculty of an outstanding independent school in Suffolk. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, well-structured English lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). There is also an exciting opportunity to teach English Literature or English Language at Key Stage 5 (KS5), depending on the candidate’s interests and experience. Requirements:

  • A strong subject knowledge in English Literature and/or Language, with a genuine passion for inspiring a love of reading and writing in students

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
  • A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular clubs, events, and academic extension activities
  • Legal right to work in the UK
