- Clearance Requirements: National Crime Information Center (NCIC) with fingerprints and Drug Screen
- Estimated Compensation: $15.53 - $16.89 per hour (negotiable).
- Type of Employment: Full-Time, 40 hours a week.
- Employee Paid Group Benefits Offered: Health/Dental/Vision.
- Paid Time Off per Year: Up to 80 hours per year, occurring on day one.
- Sick Leave per Year: Up to 56 hours per year, occurring on day one.

Summary of Duties
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential care and support to patients in healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences. CNAs assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
- Must hold a current CNA Certification for the state of New Mexico.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certified, in accordance with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Compassionate and patient focused.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift or move patients.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Help patients with mobility, including transferring from beds to wheelchairs and repositioning to prevent bedsores.
- Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Support patients during meals, including feeding and monitoring dietary intake.
- Maintain clean and organized patient rooms, ensuring necessary supplies are available.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Report changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff promptly.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure patient and staff well-being.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records.
