- Estimated Compensation: $47.46 - $52.61 per hour (negotiable).

Summary of Duties
The Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) is responsible for providing advanced nursing care to patients in a healthcare setting. The CNP will diagnose and treat medical conditions, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans. The CNP will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Must hold a current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Mexico.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
- Certification from a recognized certifying body (e.g., AANP, ANCC).
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certified, in accordance with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including physical, emotional, and social aspects. Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose medical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans. Prescribe medications and therapies as needed.
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including performing procedures, administering treatments, and monitoring patient progress. Address acute and chronic health issues.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care. Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Ensure compliance with all documentation standards.
- Compliance: Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe and clean environment.
