About the role:
Youll be handling a varied workload that goes beyond the standard service bay routine. From diagnostics and servicing to more complex repair work, youll be working on both everyday vehicles and high-performance motors. No two days are the same here, and your input will genuinely matter this isnt the kind of place where youre just a number. Youll have access to top-of-the-line tools and be trusted to take ownership of your work, with support from a friendly and knowledgeable team.
About the client:
Our client is a highly regarded and long-running specialist garage with deep roots in British automotive heritage. A family run independent garage, established for almost 40 years, their name is known in car circles for quality workmanship and attention to detail, and theyve built a loyal customer base through honesty, expertise, and a real passion for what they do. The workshop environment is relaxed but professional, and the team are all about supporting one another to get the job done right.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am 5:30
Key duties:
- Carrying out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a range of vehicles
- Working on both modern and classic cars, including performance models
- Fault-finding and offering solutions, not just fixes
- Maintaining accurate job records and ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Collaborating with the wider team to keep things running smoothly
Key requirements:
- Solid experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Confident with diagnostics and mechanical fault-finding
- A keen eye for detail and pride in producing top-standard work
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
