• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship
• Clearance Requirements: National Crime Information Center (NCIC) with fingerprints and Drug Screen
• Estimated Compensation: $41.68 - $45.48 per hour (negotiable).
• Type of Employment: Full-Time, 40 hours a week.
• Employee Paid Group Benefits Offered: Health/Dental/Vision.
• Paid Time Off per Year: Up to 80 hours per year, occurring on day one.
• Sick Leave per Year: Up to 56 hours per year, occurring on day one.

Summary of Duties

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for helping patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. The OT will assess patients' needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy to enhance their ability to perform everyday activities.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.

• Must hold a current Occupational Therapist license in the state of [Insert State].
• Masters degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certified, in accordance with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Skills: Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Attributes: Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and social abilities. Use standardized tests and clinical observations to identify areas of need.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Set realistic goals and monitor patient progress.
• Therapy: Provide direct therapy to patients, using evidence-based techniques and interventions. Address motor skills, cognitive functions, and sensory processing issues.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home exercises. Provide guidance on how to support the patient's progress.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, physical therapists, speech language pathologists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Ensure compliance with all documentation standards.
• Compliance: Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe and clean environment.
