Capital Markets Attorney
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a globally renowned law firm with over 500 attorneys and 1,000 employees. We are assisting them in their search for a Corporate Associate to join their Capital Markets and Public Companies group. You will advise public companies and investment banks on a broad range of matters. You will provide legal services to technology and life sciences companies at all stages of development, from early startups to publicly traded corporations.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- 3 years of experience advising public companies or investment banks on SEC compliance, disclosure, governance, and exchange matters.
- Experience in capital market transactions, including IPOs, SPACs, direct listings, and follow-on offerings.
- Previous experience representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions, including IPOs, SPACs, direct listings, and follow-on offerings.
- Ability to provide counsel on corporate governance matters, securities laws, and public company disclosure obligations.
- Collaborating with colleagues in technology and life sciences practices to support clients in these dynamic sectors.
- Experience with, or affinity for, technology and/or life sciences companies is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Top law school credentials with excellent academic performance.
- Active CA BAR membership or eligibility to waive in.
- Detail-oriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Salary: $250,000 - $370,000
- Healthcare, Life Insurance, Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Wellbeing
- A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance
