Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Primary PHE (Physical and Health Education) Teacher to join the schools growing faculty. The ideal candidate will be passionate about physical education, promoting student well-being, and fostering lifelong healthy habits through active learning. This role involves delivering a comprehensive, inclusive PHE curriculum that inspires students to be active, engaged, and confident in their physical capabilities.
The successful candidate will:

Plan and deliver high-quality physical education lessons tailored to the developmental needs of primary-aged children.

Promote healthy lifestyles and positive attitudes towards physical activity, teamwork, and personal fitness.

Create a safe, supportive environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and achieve success in physical activities.

Design age-appropriate activities that develop motor skills, coordination, strength, and flexibility.

Integrate health and well-being topics into the curriculum, including nutrition, personal hygiene, emotional regulation, and social skills.

Encourage sportsmanship, cooperation, and respect through structured games and team sports.

Assess and track student progress in alignment with curriculum goals and standards.

Organize and lead school-wide sports events, clubs, and extracurricular activities related to physical education.

Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support cross-curricular initiatives and whole-child development.

Use technology and innovative tools to enhance instruction and engage students in creative ways.
Qualifications & Requirements:
-
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field. A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.

Experience: At least three years of teaching PHE to primary students, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.

Skills:

Strong classroom and behavior management skills.

Passion for fostering student well-being and healthy living.

Ability to differentiate instruction for a range of abilities and learning needs.

Experience organizing school events, sports competitions, and extracurricular activities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
