AI/ML Engineer - Fintech

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML model development and deployment.
Hands-on experience with Cursor is mandatory.
Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Solid skills in data wrangling using Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
In-depth understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and model evaluation metrics.
Experience working with financial datasets and solving domain-specific challenges.
Familiarity with model deployment frameworks (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, FastAPI).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, train, and deploy ML models for fintech applications (credit scoring, fraud detection, customer analytics, risk analysis).
Clean, preprocess, and analyze large structured and unstructured financial datasets.
Implement and optimize predictive models using supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.
Work closely with data engineers and product teams to deploy models into production environments.
Monitor model performance, handle data drift, and retrain models as needed.
Apply state-of-the-art AI/ML research to drive innovative financial solutions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and data privacy standards in model design and data handling.
Stay current with trends and best practices in AI/ML and fintech innovation.
