Senior Software Project - Delivery Manager

About the position

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proven expertise in developing scalable, distributed systems and handling high-volume transactions.
• Strong grasp of software architecture, infrastructure, and legacy code refactoring.
• Proficient in .Net, C#, HTML5/JavaScript, SQL, and RDBMS architecture.
• Applied experience with SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and writing Unit/Integration tests.
• Familiar with DevOps practices and tools, preferably Microsoft-based; GIT required.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud (SaaS/PaaS) concepts.
• Skilled in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of commercial processes in Consumer Goods/Retail is a plus.
• Strong leadership, team supervision, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  Fast learner with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Advanced understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

Responsibilities:

• Promote innovative and agile methodologies to deliver high-quality technology solutions for Sales Transformation and key projects.
• Provide strategic direction and oversee end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Lead globally distributed and matrixed teams while taking ownership of critical issues and project financials (forecasts, P&L, invoicing).
• Engage with clients to understand needs, conduct functional workshops, define solution blueprints, and support implementation phases.
• Build strong client relationships and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Organize and lead project tasks, manage risks, estimate efforts, and oversee mobilization, configuration, testing, deployment, and adoption.
• Ensure quality of work items with clear definitions and priorities, and follow Agile practices including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Provide regular updates via internal systems and executive reporting, ensuring resource time tracking aligns with budget.
• Design scalable, secure, end-to-end solutions; perform gap analyses to align technical solutions with customer needs.
• Maintain and adjust detailed project plans to ensure successful outcomes and scope alignment.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including blueprints, configuration guides, and user stories.
• Manage smooth project handover to support teams with proper documentation and training.
• Collaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales to define scope, pricing, and develop SOWs for new opportunities.
• Lead and mentor project teams across functions, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Provide technical governance, challenge requirements, and conduct regular reviews with leadership and clients.
• Work closely with internal teams to gather feedback, support product enhancements, and align with client needs.
• Experienced in managing design and implementation processes for Revenue Growth, Trade Promotion, and Sales Force Automation for FMCG clients.
