Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing scalable, robust and high-quality solutions. As an engineer you are a professional with several years of hands-on experience, possessing advanced technical skills and in-depth knowledge. You excel in problem-solving, effective communication, guiding and mentoring other engineers, making critical technical decisions, and contributing to the strategic direction of projects.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in data-related technologies.

• Strong technical support skills.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of data fundamentals, including data transformations, exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, and regulatory compliance.
• Solid experience working with database systems such as SQL.
• Proficient in version control tools like Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Skilled in working with APIs, including REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
• Good knowledge of modern data storage solutions such as Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouses.
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Snowflake, or Storm.
• Proven ability to design and maintain efficient data transformation pipelines using ETL processes, reusable design patterns, and scheduling tools.
• Experience with blob storage and enterprise data platforms like Redshift and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C#, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Strong background in data testing, including querying and ensuring data integrity.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with security standards and practices, including OWASP and OAuth.
