Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join the PMO team of a leading beverage distributor in the United States. This is a temporary backfill position focused on leading complex technology initiatives, ensuring project delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will hold a PMP certification, demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills, and thrive in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects across infrastructure, applications, and cross-functional business areas.
• Ensure project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined and executed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to manage expectations and resolve conflicts.
• Monitor project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular updates and reporting to leadership on status, risks, and progress.
• Coordinate tasks across internal and third-party teams, ensuring accountability and progress.
• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Track and manage budgets, resources, and project documentation.
• Ensure alignment of projects with organizational strategy and IT governance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• PMP certification – required.
• 7+ years of experience managing IT projects in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience in stakeholder management, cross-team coordination, and executive communication.
• Proven ability to lead large, complex projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Comfortable in hybrid work settings, with strong time management and autonomy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the beverage or retail industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Experience working in PMO-led environments with structured governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
