About the position
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Year 2 Teacher to join a high-achieving and well-respected primary school in Redbridge, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to work in a supportive and dynamic environment. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.

Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Year 2.
- Monitor, assess, and track pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support where needed.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's academic and social development.
- Differentiate lessons and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with SEND and EAL.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leaders to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child’s progress.
- Contribute to school life beyond the classroom, including events, trips, and extracurricular opportunities.
Year 2 Teacher Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum, particularly for Year 2.
- A commitment to raising standards and delivering outstanding teaching.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners to achieve their best.
- A reflective, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and contributing positively to the school community.
