The Role β Physics Teacher
As a Physics Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
β’ Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across all key stages, including KS5
β’ Inspiring students to develop a deep understanding and love for physics
β’ Collaborating with other Physics Teachers to refine curriculum content and share best practice
β’ Providing academic mentoring and enrichment opportunities for able physicists
β’ Supporting the wider science programme, including clubs, trips, and national competitions
β’ Contributing to a forward-thinking and supportive department committed to continuous improvement
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a Physics Teacher who:
β’ Holds QTS and a strong academic background in Physics or a related field
β’ Has experience teaching Physics to a high standard, particularly at A-Level/KS5
β’ Demonstrates enthusiasm for physics and a desire to foster academic curiosity
β’ Works effectively as part of a collaborative team of Physics Teachers
β’ Has excellent communication skills and a commitment to student success
