Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical expertise resource to project managers and staff
  • Interview and hire staff for the section and assist with staffing needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in traffic engineering design, planning, and analysis
  • BSCE from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • South Carolina Registered Professional Engineer
  • Certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer preferred
  • Familiarity with SCDOT policies, publications, and practices
  • Experience working with SCDOT
  • Experience with traffic analysis and simulation modeling software preferred

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET accredited program
