About the position
A welcoming Independent School in Barnet requires a flexible and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join them on a temporary, part-time basis, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Maths Teacher to make an immediate impact, teaching Maths to Key Stages 3 and 4 for a few days per week. The successful Maths Teacher will be able to deliver engaging lessons and support student learning within our Independent School environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths Teacher lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 on a part-time schedule.
- Support students in their understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback as required.
- Collaborate with the Maths department on curriculum and resource development within our Independent School.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly on a part-time basis.
