A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is seeking a talented Music Teacher to join their performing arts department. You'll deliver engaging music lessons across all key stages.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
- Prepare students for instrumental or vocal performances and examinations.
- Develop students' musical skills, including theory, composition, and performance.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the music curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead music-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Music.
- Proven experience in teaching music at secondary level, including A-Level.
- Strong musical skills and knowledge of music theory and performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
