About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3-5.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that foster a love of reading, writing, and critical analysis.
  • Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and written work.
  • Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and participate in departmental planning.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in English Literature and Language.
  • Experience teaching English to A-Level, with a focus on both literary analysis and creative writing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • A commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic education.
