We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Female PE Teacher to join our exceptional team at an outstanding secondary school in the heart of Hackney. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead engaging lessons, develop innovative programs, and inspire our female students to excel in physical education and sports. You'll play a vital role in fostering a positive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons across all key stages, focusing on female participation and development.
- Plan and implement a diverse range of physical activities, including team sports, individual disciplines, and fitness programs.
- Lead and develop extra-curricular sports clubs and teams, providing opportunities for competitive and recreational participation.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the PE curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students.
- Promote a healthy and active lifestyle among students, emphasizing the importance of physical and mental well-being.
- Organize and lead school sports events and competitions.
- Act as a role model and mentor for female students, encouraging their participation and leadership in sports.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching PE to female students at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of various sports and physical activities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A passion for promoting female participation in sports and physical activity.
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
