Drama Teacher – Independent School – Surrey
A prestigious Independent secondary school in Surrey is seeking a dynamic, inspirational, and highly skilled Drama Teacher to join their thriving Performing Arts department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Drama lessons that foster creativity, confidence, and technical proficiency.
- Teach a range of dramatic techniques, styles, and genres, from classical theatre to contemporary performance.
- Develop students' acting, improvisation, voice, movement, and stagecraft skills.
- Direct school productions and performances, showcasing student talent to a high standard (highly desirable).
- Create a supportive and inclusive environment where all students can explore their creative potential and develop their self-expression.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular drama activities.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary level, ideally within the independent sector.
- A strong track record of directing school productions (highly desirable).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A Drama Teacher with exceptional talent.
