About the Role:

Join a Secondary School in Hounslow with a strong sports program as a Boys' PE Teacher from September 2025. This is an opportunity to inspire and develop young male athletes across Key Stages 3-5, fostering a love of sports and promoting healthy lifestyles within a supportive sporting environment.
Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across Key Stages 3-5, following national curriculum guidelines and incorporating a range of sports and physical activities.
Plan and deliver lessons that foster athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, utilising a variety of teaching methods and resources, including fitness training, team sports, and individual activities.
Assess student progress through practical assessments, fitness tests, and written work, providing detailed feedback to support their development.
Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum, integrating current sports science and training techniques, and participate in departmental planning.
Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, school teams, and sporting competitions, promoting student engagement and athletic excellence.

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong PE subject knowledge, including sports science, fitness training, and coaching.
Demonstrated experience teaching PE to A-Level, with a focus on both practical skills and theoretical understanding.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young male athletes.
Commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and athletic excellence.
