About the position
Drama Teacher – Kingston Secondary School
An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston is seeking a dynamic and inspirational Drama Teacher to join their Performing Arts department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5).
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Drama lessons.
- Teach a range of dramatic techniques, styles, and genres.
- Develop students' acting, improvisation, and performance skills.
- Contribute to school productions and performances (desirable, but not always essential).
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Teach at an Outstanding School
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A desire to be a Drama Teacher
