Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across the primary age range in the absence of the class teacher.
• Provide targeted support through small group work and one-to-one interventions, helping to raise attainment and address individual learning needs.
• Collaborate closely with teachers to plan, deliver, and evaluate creative learning activities that align with the curriculum.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing insightful feedback to both teaching staff and parents to support student development.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed.
• Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources to enhance the educational experience.
• Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities and special events as required.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or significant experience working at HLTA level.
• Proven track record of supporting primary-aged children in an educational setting.
• Confidence in delivering lessons across the primary curriculum with a clear, adaptable communication style.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• A flexible, proactive approach with a passion for supporting the educational and personal development of children.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
