We are delighted to be working with an Outstanding-rated mixed school in Camden to recruit a Sociology Teacher. This part-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach Sociology up to KS5, encouraging students to critically explore society, culture, and human behaviour.

This Outstanding school has a well-established Social Sciences department, fostering debate, independent thought, and research-based learning. The school places a strong emphasis on analytical skills, providing students with real-world perspectives on societal structures and contemporary issues.
Responsibilities
• Teach Sociology across KS3, KS4, and KS5, engaging students in discussions about culture, social structures, and inequalities
• Inspire students to develop critical thinking and independent research skills
• Support students in achieving strong results in GCSE and A-Level Sociology
• Work collaboratively to enhance the Sociology curriculum with contemporary case studies
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as debate clubs and research projects
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Sociology, Social Sciences, or a related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching Sociology up to KS5
