A fantastic specialist independent school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. Role Highlights:

  • Full-time, permanent position at a specialist independent school in Lambeth
  • Teach primary-aged students with special educational needs in a supportive, tailored learning environment
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of students
  • Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals to ensure individualised learning plans (IEPs) are followed and students make progress
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, confident, and supported
  • Track student progress and provide feedback to parents and carers, ensuring open communication about student development
  • Promote students’ personal and social development alongside their academic progress

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching primary-aged students, ideally in a special educational needs or independent school setting
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and differentiation techniques
  • Passion for working with children with additional needs and a commitment to helping them succeed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Enhanced DBS check required
