A creative and supportive secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a passionate and skilled Art Teacher to join their dynamic Art and Design department. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Planning and delivering engaging and challenging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable, but not essential).
- Differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintaining accurate student records.
- Creating a positive and stimulating studio environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues in the Art and Design department.
- Contributing to extra-curricular art activities.
- Organizing and displaying student artwork.
- Communicating with parents/guardians.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: The Art Teacher will be
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Has proven experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4.
- Is proficient in a range of art techniques and media.
- Possesses a genuine passion for art and inspiring students.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
- Is a collaborative team player.
- Is committed to continuous professional development.
