About the Design Technology Department:
The Design Technology Department is a collaborative and supportive team of Design Technology Teachers. The department is focused on delivering high-quality education in Design Technology while ensuring students develop practical skills. As a Design Technology Teacher, you will join a team that values innovation and student success, continuing the department’s excellent track record.
Responsibilities:
• Teach Design Technology across KS3/4 with the option to teach KS5
• Plan and develop lessons and projects in Design Technology
• Assess students' work and provide feedback in Design Technology
• Take on form tutor duties and provide support to students
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Design Technology or a related field
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience as a Design Technology Teacher at KS3/4
• Early Careers Design Technology Teachers are welcome to apply
