About the position

The Design Technology Teacher team is known for being flexible and friendly, with Design Technology subjects being popular choices for KS4 students. Many students continue with vocational courses related to D&T or Construction after leaving the school.
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will be expected to provide engaging and effective lessons that inspire students in both practical and theoretical elements of Design Technology. You will be a key player in ensuring that students are motivated and well-prepared for their assessments, with support from both colleagues and senior leaders.
Experience and Qualifications required for this Design Technology Teacher position:
- Degree in Design Technology or a related subject
- PGCE or QTS
- Experience teaching Design Technology up to KS4
- Experience teaching Construction at KS4 (desirable)

The salary for this position will be paid to scale (MPS/UPS).
