About the Role
We are excited to be working with an Outstanding-rated secondary school in Brent to recruit an Art & Design Teacher specialising in Photography. This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to teach Photography up to GCSE level, equipping students with technical skills, conceptual understanding, and a creative approach to visual storytelling. The role includes lesson planning, exam preparation, marking, and moderating coursework to ensure students achieve their best results.

Responsibilities
• Teach Photography across KS3 and KS4, preparing students for GCSE exams
• Support students in developing technical photography skills, including composition, lighting, and editing

• Work collaboratively to enhance the Art & Design curriculum with contemporary trends in photography
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as exhibitions, workshops, and photography competitions
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Photography, Art & Design, or a related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching Photography up to GCSE level, with an understanding of exam marking and moderation
