Your Role as a Science Teacher:
πΉ Plan and deliver engaging and practical Science lessons tailored to meet the needs of students in a PRU setting.
πΉ Create a structured and supportive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and confidence.
πΉ Differentiate learning to support students with varied abilities and learning styles.
πΉ Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to provide holistic support.
πΉ Inspire students by making Science relevant, exciting, and accessible.
πΉ Develop and implement individual learning plans to track progress and ensure student success.
Who Weβre Looking For:
β
Qualified Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent).
β
Experience teaching Science at secondary level, preferably in an alternative provision or SEN setting.
β
A patient, flexible, and resilient teaching approach.
β
Strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to inclusion.
β
Passion for supporting students in a PRU environment.
β
An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
