Your Role as a Year 5 Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued.
- Assess, track, and support student progress, providing tailored feedback and intervention where needed.
- Inspire pupils to become independent and confident learners.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
- Engage in school initiatives, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 5.
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
