Your Role as an Art Teacher:
🔹 Plan and Deliver Inspiring Art Lessons – Teach across a wide range of artistic mediums, from drawing and painting to sculpture and digital arts.
🔹 Foster Creativity & Self-Expression – Encourage students to explore their creative potential and express their ideas through art.
🔹 Support Students’ Artistic Development – Provide guidance and constructive feedback to help students develop their skills and confidence in their artistic abilities.
🔹 Create an Inclusive & Positive Learning Environment – Develop a classroom where all students feel valued, encouraged, and able to explore their artistic talents.
🔹 Monitor and Assess Student Progress – Provide regular feedback on students’ work and help them to set personal goals for artistic improvement.
🔹 Contribute to Extra-Curricular Activities – Support art clubs, exhibitions, and other creative events that extend students' learning beyond the classroom.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Art at secondary level.
✅ Strong Passion for Art & Creativity – A deep love for the subject and a desire to inspire students to pursue their creative interests.
✅ Creative and Inspiring – Able to deliver lessons that engage students, spark their imagination, and encourage innovative thinking.
✅ Student-Centered – Focused on creating a nurturing and supportive environment that helps every student thrive.
✅ Team-Oriented – Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a dynamic school team.
✅ An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
