About the Role:
As our new SEN Teacher, you will be working closely with a diverse group of students with varying learning needs, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to develop their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality teaching to children with special educational needs
- Create and implement individual learning plans (ILPs) and personalised support strategies
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, support staff, and external agencies
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to teaching methods as needed
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
- A qualified teacher with experience in SEN or a passion to work in this area
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive in adapting learning approaches
- Strong at building relationships with children, staff, and parents
