Are you a caring and dedicated Teacher of Health and Social Care with a passion for supporting young people and equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to make a positive difference in the lives of others? We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our supportive Health and Social Care department in a secondary school in Hillingdon.

We offer a stimulating and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of topics, from human development and health promotion to social care policy and practice.

About the Role:

  • Teach Health and Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5, potentially Key Stage 3.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including case studies, role-play, and guest speakers.
  • Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation.
  • Foster a passion for Health and Social Care in students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent.
  • Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Health and Social Care.
  • Demonstrates a passion for teaching Health and Social Care.
  • Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
