Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary School – Kensington
A welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Kensington is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role in enhancing learning, working closely with teachers to support pupils across the school.
As an HLTA, you will play an essential role in delivering lessons, supporting small groups, and providing 1:1 interventions, helping students reach their full potential. You will also assist in planning and preparing learning activities, ensuring an engaging and inclusive environment for all pupils.
Role Highlights:
- Full-time, long-term position in a friendly and nurturing primary school
- Lead whole-class sessions in the absence of a teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons
- Support small groups and 1:1 interventions to help students progress academically and socially
- Work closely with teachers to plan, prepare, and adapt learning activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported

Experience & Qualifications:
- HLTA qualification or extensive TA experience with the ability to lead classes
- Experience working in a primary school setting is essential
- A passion for inclusive education and supporting children of all abilities
- Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS check required
