About the position
Are you an ambitious Business Teacher looking for a leadership role in an outstanding school? A high-performing secondary school in Coventry is seeking a Business Teacher with a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) to join their thriving Business Studies department from September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Business Teacher to contribute to curriculum development, lead initiatives, and support student success at both GCSE and A-Level.

The Role:
- Teach Business Studies to KS4 & KS5, covering GCSE and A-Level courses
- Take on a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR), supporting the development of the Business department
- Lead on curriculum innovation, student engagement, and extracurricular activities such as enterprise projects
- Support and mentor Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and department colleagues
- Encourage students to develop a strong understanding of business principles, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy
What Weβre Looking For:
β A qualified Business Teacher with QTS or PGCE
β Experience teaching Business at KS4 & KS5, with strong subject knowledge
β A passion for student achievement and curriculum development
β Leadership potential, with a drive to enhance teaching and learning in Business Studies
β A commitment to innovation and real-world business applications in education
