This is an exciting opportunity to support children with special educational needs in a nurturing and supportive environment, ensuring they receive the tailored education and care needed to thrive both academically and socially.
Role Highlights:
- Full-time, permanent position in a supportive and inclusive primary school
- Plan and deliver individualized and engaging lessons for students with SEN
- Work closely with SEN support staff to provide targeted interventions
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with parents, external professionals, and school staff to provide holistic support
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance SEN expertise
Experience & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience working with SEN students in a mainstream or specialist setting
- A strong understanding of inclusive education and differentiated learning
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS check required
