About the position
Are you an enthusiastic and skilled Business Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of business leaders? We are seeking a dedicated Business Teacher to join a dynamic academic community in Hereford, teaching students at KS4 and KS5. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking business lessons to students at KS4 and KS5.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that provides real-world applications of business theory and encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them build a strong understanding of business concepts and apply their learning to real-life situations.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages independent thought and creativity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the business department.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and achievements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Business, Business Education, or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching business at KS4 and KS5 is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of business concepts, theory, and practice.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students to engage with business topics.
- Experience in delivering A-Level Business or vocational business qualifications is a plus.
