Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 4 students.
- Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and support students in their learning journey.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and enthusiasm for learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance curriculum delivery.
- Maintain strong communication with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities as required.
Year 4 Teacher Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in KS2.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and educational best practices.
- A flexible and team-oriented approach to working within a collaborative school environment.
