Are you a passionate and energetic Teacher of Physical Education with a specialism in gymnastics? We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring individual to join our thriving PE department in a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in West London. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in April 2025.

About the PE Department:

About the Role:
- Teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on gymnastics.
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Develop and deliver a gymnastics program that caters to students of all abilities, from beginners to advanced gymnasts.
- Coach and mentor students in gymnastics, helping them to develop their skills, technique, and confidence.
- Organize and participate in gymnastics competitions and displays.
- Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
- Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our PE curriculum remains relevant and challenging.
- Foster a love of Physical Education and gymnastics in students, encouraging them to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in PE and gymnastics education.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or equivalent.
- Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Physical Education with a specialism in gymnastics.
- Has experience of coaching gymnastics to students of different ages and abilities.
- Demonstrates a passion for teaching PE and gymnastics and a commitment to student success.
- Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum for PE.
- Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
