A specialist independent school in Westminster is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team from April 2025. Role Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position at a specialist independent school in Westminster
• Teach Key Stage 1 students with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student
• Provide a structured and supportive environment that promotes both academic progress and social-emotional development
• Foster a love of learning by incorporating creative and hands-on approaches into lessons
• Collaborate closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals to ensure personalized learning plans are effectively implemented
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure continuous improvement
• Promote inclusive values and support each student’s unique journey in a safe, caring environment

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching KS1 students, ideally with experience in a specialist or SEN setting
• A patient, empathetic, and creative approach to teaching children with additional needs
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and the ability to adapt it to suit diverse learners
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team
• Enhanced DBS check required
