Your Responsibilities

As a History ECT, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Work closely with your mentor to refine your teaching practice and receive constructive feedback.
• Inspire students to explore historical events, develop critical thinking, and foster a deep understanding of the past.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as history trips, debates, and history clubs.
• Encourage students to develop strong research, communication, and analytical skills.

• A passionate and committed History graduate with QTS (or working towards it).
• Someone with a deep enthusiasm for history and a desire to inspire students through engaging lessons and discussions.
• A team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching.
• An ECT eager to develop professionally and contribute to the success of the school’s History department.
