About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Business Studies lessons at A-Level and vocational levels, following relevant examination specifications.
• Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of ambitious sixth form students.
• Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including case studies, business simulations, and guest speakers, to enhance student learning.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys.
• Prepare students for A-Level and vocational business examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria.
• Contribute to the development of the Business Studies curriculum and resources.
• Foster a passion for business and enterprise in students, encouraging them to develop their leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to business and entrepreneurship.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies, particularly at A-Level.
• Demonstrated ability to teach A-Level and vocational business courses.
• Experience in preparing students for A-Level and vocational business examinations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate high-achieving sixth form students.
• A passion for business and a commitment to fostering entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
